The Meskla Agricultural Cooperative was founded in 1951 with its headquarters in the village of Meskla, in the Platanias region of Chania.

The main activity of the Cooperative is the operation of the olive mill and the trade of the produced olive oil for the benefit of its producers. The Cooperative, thanks to the continuous efforts of the Management and its members, has managed to collect and market, on behalf of the producers, the majority of their production.

The ultimate goal of the Cooperative is to continuously improve the quality of  the produced olive oil, reduce production costs, attract young producers, protect the environment and preserve the special and rare natural beauty of the area of ​​Meskla and Zourva.
